CJ Sheeran Group Achieves Guaranteed Irish Certification

CJ Sheeran Group is proud to announce that we have achieved Guaranteed Irish certification, recognising our commitment to supporting jobs, communities and enterprise in Ireland.

As a long-established Irish business with over 25 years of experience in the timber industry, becoming Guaranteed Irish certified is an important milestone for our Group.

Headquartered in Mountrath, Co. Laois, CJ Sheeran has grown to become Ireland’s largest manufacturer and recycler of timber packaging and pallets. Today, we directly employ 465 people and operate 14 manufacturing, warehousing, recycling and distribution facilities across Ireland and the UK.

The Guaranteed Irish symbol represents businesses that support Ireland through their contribution to jobs, local communities and Irish provenance. For CJ Sheeran, this recognition reflects the continued investment we make in our people, our operations and the communities in which we work.

CJ Sheeran Guaranteed Irish Profile

Our business has always been built around creating long-term value in Ireland. From supporting sustainable employment and investing in skills through our TalentTree® training and development programme, to continued investment in manufacturing, automation, renewable energy and recycling, we remain focused on building a strong and sustainable future.

Sustainability is also central to how we operate. As Ireland’s largest pallet manufacturer and recycler, we work to keep timber in productive use through reuse, repair, remanufacturing and recycling, supporting a more circular approach to timber packaging.

Beyond our core pallet and timber packaging business, CJ Sheeran also produces a range of garden and farm timber products, including Gates, Fencing, SecondHarvest® Landscape Wood Mulch, ComfyPlay® Playground Surfacing and the innovative ComfyBed® Equine Bedding.

We are delighted to join the Guaranteed Irish community and to display a symbol that reflects the values we are proud to represent as an Irish business.

This certification marks another important milestone for CJ Sheeran Group as we continue to invest, grow and support Irish enterprise for the future.
