A tribute to Canice J Sheeran

Cad a dhéanfaimid feasta gan adhmad? Today marks a significant milestone as we celebrate 30 years since incorporation. The outpouring of good wishes that we have received is truly heartening and we’re grateful for the opportunity to reflect on our journey thus far.
While we take great pride in acknowledging “the past few years”, we also recognise the enduring legacy and longevity of our business that has been shaped by our historic connections and deep-rooted relationships such as with John O Moran in Ballinrobe, Declan Hutchinson in Coolrain Sawmills, Irish Forest Products, the town of Mountrath, Peter Finnegan and the Lynches in the North, our Dublin Depots, our plants in the West, in Castlepollard and in Cavan.
On this day we would also like to especially pay tribute to Mr. Canice J Sheeran, who started sawmilling and timber packaging way back in the early fifties. Canice was ahead of his time and persevered through thick and thin, in times that were a lot less economically advantageous than now.
We are deeply thankful for the support that we have received and, as we celebrate, we also remember those that have gone before us having planted the seeds of a successful local proud Irish business.
